JABA Perform helps people at all stages of their professional journey to think clearly, act decisively and stay ahead. Guided by you, supported by us.
Executive coaching
Executive coaching is structured, confidential time with someone whose only job is to help you think. It is not training, not therapy and not advice, but a set of conversations that surface what is really driving your decisions and what is getting in the way.
It tends to suit professionals growing into their career: founders, executives, portfolio managers and anyone stepping up faster than the support around them. It works as well for people already performing who want to perform better as it does for people who are stuck.
Engagements start with a short scoping conversation and an introduction to a matched coach. Sessions typically run fortnightly or monthly over six to twelve months, in person or remote, with goals agreed at the outset and revisited as you go.

Engagements
We shape every engagement around the person in front of us. The outline below is a guide rather than a template.
The network
Coaching only works when the relationship does. Every coach in the JABA Perform network is certified and brings a wealth of experience. What matters is fit, so we take time to understand where you are and what you are trying to change before we introduce anyone.
From there the work is yours to direct. Your coach will help you set goals specific enough to act on, challenge the assumptions underneath them and hold you to what you said you would do, whether that is sharpening your decisions, leading through change or working out what you want next.
The result is not a course you complete. It is a working relationship with someone who has no stake in your organisation and no reason to tell you what you want to hear, at a level of candour most senior people rarely get.

The Founder
Alex Wigzell
Alex founded JABA in 2021 after a decade of leading talent functions within global hedge funds. He was previously part of the talent function at Citadel, working with the Co-CIO of the asset management business across London, Chicago and New York, and before that Chief Talent Officer at Engineers Gate, where he built the global talent strategy for an early stage hedge fund.
He now splits his time between executive search, leadership coaching and strategic advisory, partnering with high performing organisations and the people within them to solve talent problems and unlock growth.
